Doug has been an active Realtor since 1981, receiving his Agent 9:15 designation in 1991. Doug was a member of the Industrial, Commercial and Investments Council of the Canadian Real Estate Association, he served on the Kootenay Real Estate Board for 6 years, 2 of which were as President, and served 7 years on the board of the British Columbia Real Estate Association culminating in his term as President of the B.C. Board.
