Cranbrook

Cranbrook is often referred to as the Key City or Gateway to the Canadian Rockies. Cranbrook grew up as an industrial town that has become the service centre for all of the East Kootenay. A growing, evolving town, Cranbrook has been recently discovered by developers and investors from all over the world. There are currently three new golf courses being developed in the immediate area, all with residential developments sprouting up alongside. The quaint downtown houses several interesting shopping opportunites, while providing some of the larger services that might not be available in smaller communities. Kimberley

The highest city in Canada, at 1,120 metres, Kimberley boasts beautiful four season weather perfect for a stroll through the downtown shopping square and visits to the many boutiques and cafes. Kimberley has an endless summer of festivals, music, art, and theatre. Great fishing, hiking and golf are close by. The winter sports enthusiast can choose from skiing, sledding, snowshoeing and much more. A vibrant community, Kimberley promises the kind of lifestyle many look for in a Rocky Mountain setting. College of the Rockies

The College of the Rockies is a publicly funded, provincially accredited community college, is located in the southeastern corner of British Columbia, Canada. Surrounded by the Rocky Mountains, the College is in the centre of a world-famous outdoor recreation environment. The region features famous hot springs resorts, beautiful forests and some of Canada’s finest skiing/snowboarding areas. All with no crowds! The College of the Rockies’ main campus is in the City of Cranbrook (population 20,000). This small, safe, affordable and very friendly college is located a one hour drive from the United States border and a three hour drive from scenic Banff.
